Does it make a difference to have the results of your soccer training just a few minutes after it ends ? Does being aware of the number of successful passes and their accuracy right at the end of the drill help you make adjustments later?
In a recent study published in January 2020, researchers showed the link between the immediacy of the data and the correction of errors during training.
2 groups of high-level soccer players underwent the same visuo-motor training as well as a training regime based on passing.
The only difference between these 2 groups is that one of them (called the “AF group”) received instant feedback after each exercise on the performance and accuracy of the passes made.
After this visuo-motor training, the group with post-training feedback noted a 22% improvement in terms of passing accuracy and responsiveness, compared to the other group!
As a result, having training data enables :
Thus, having real-time data, instantly after a practice, not only allows soccer players to better adjust their passes. But it also allows them to better situate their performance in relation to their own perception.
To better situate oneself in order to get better is one of the will of Neural Trainer.
